How It Differs from Other Stages

Stage 3 DI uses the fuel rail pressure sensor for its 2D map — purpose-built for direct-injection engines. DI vs EFI: Choose DI for direct-injected engines (Golf GTI MK7+, S3 8V, 335i, Focus RS). For port-injected engines (1.8T, older TFSI), choose the Stage 3 EFI instead.
