Darkside 3D Printed Aluminium BMW F Series 35d / 40d Turbo Intake Elbow

Darkside 3D Printed Aluminium BMW F Series 35d / 40d 3.0 Bi-Turbo N57Z Turbo Intake Elbow Pipe, replaces part number 13718509817. We have designed this pipe in house using precise 3D scanning technology and CAD software.

The OE plastic "pancake" pipe was found to be a restriction on our M4D (435d) Project which led us to design this larger diameter turbo elbow for increased air flow, due to the complexities of CNC machining this would not be possible to manufacture in one piece, therefore we opted for 3D printed aluminium (AlSi10Mg).

We now also Cerakote products in house, please see options above. Cerakote offers a clean yet durable finish whilst also providing heat protection properties.

Please Note: Fitment and Compatibility

This product is targeted towards customers fabricating their own induction kit, this pipe is not compatible with the stock air intake system. We do supply a complete induction kit aswell as a partial kit (for customers who have previously purchased our standard induction kit). Please see listings below.

Also to note: the stock thermostat placement fouls the larger 3D printed intake pipe, if retaining the stock thermostat you will be required to install our thermostat housing spacers which can be found listed below, this offsets the clearance allowing you to install the intake pipe with no fitment issues.
