1.9 8v VE / PD & 2.0 16v PD / PPD TDI Engine Block Repair Kit

Engine Block Repair Kit for VAG 1.9 8v VE / PD & 2.0 16v PD / PPD TDI Transverse Diesel Engines A common problem on the 1.9 & 2.0 TDI PD / PPD Engines is the cast iron mounting found behind the Cambelt is prone to snapping, meaning the alloy Mount is only held on by 2 bolts. Usually the only way to repair this would be to remove the engine from the car and weld the block This bracket bolts on to the back corner of the engine block using holes already cast into the block and makes this part of the engine mounting system stronger than stock.

Please note - this will only fit the 1.9 VE / PD & 2.0 TDI PD / PPD Tranverse Engines

This will not fit vehicles with the 1Z Engine or that have a three piece driveshaft and use the bottom bracket bolt hole. (See 4th Photo)
