Darkside Performance Gearbox Oil Cooler Kit for Audi DL501 0B5 7 Speed S-Tronic DSG Transmissions. We have paired this kit with High Pressure Setrab 14 Row Proline Performance Oil Cooler for maximum efficiency. Oil Coolers are an important addition to high performance applications. S-Tronic Gearbox Oil can easily overheat causing it to becomes thinner and offer less protection to vital gearbox parts, resulting in premature gearbox wear. This can also affect the performance and function of the gearbox. This kit includes universal brackets allowing the cooler to be mounted where best suitable. It needs to be fitted in a position where airflow can easily pass through, such as the front of the car by the radiator or fog lights. The Universal brackets can be cut or bent to allow fitment in the correct place After testing on our own A5 Project car we soon found that regular universal oil coolers were not up to the job of handling the high pressures produced by the S-Tronic gearbox. With gearbox software we saw oil pressure as high as 20 BAR
