Supported Transmissions

⚠️ Important: M-vehicles based on G-Series platforms need a G-Series license, even though they may be designated as F-Series (e.g. F90 M5, F97 X3M). Select the "8 Speed G Chassis" variant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between this and the xHP Custom Tune?
This product includes pre-built Stage 1/2/3 maps designed for stock transmissions. The Custom Tune is a bespoke map built specifically for vehicles with upgraded transmission hardware.

Can I switch between stages?
Yes — with the flash license, you can switch between Stage 1, 2, and 3 as often as you like.

Can I revert to stock?
Yes — xHP always stores a backup of your stock TCU map so you can revert at any time.

Can you send me the licence code remotely?
No — our xHP tunes are flashed directly to your TCU at our Auckland workshop. We cannot email licence codes. The advantage of purchasing through us is hands-on support — if you run into any tuning issues or transmission problems, we're here to help.

Can I change stages myself at home?
When purchased through EuroLab, stage changes and adjustments are done at our workshop. The advantage of purchasing through EuroLab is our dealer-level support — if you experience any tuning issues or your transmission isn't behaving correctly, we're here to help diagnose and resolve it. If you buy directly from xHP instead, you can make changes yourself — but you won't have access to our hands-on support.
