ECU unlocking for the BMW S68 (DME9), done in-house at our East Tamaki workshop.

The S68 uses BMW's newest locked control unit. Before any calibration can be written, the ECU has to be unlocked. Almost nowhere in New Zealand can touch it - the units that can are usually couriered to Europe or the United States and the car sits for weeks. We do it here, on our own bench.

Mail in your ECU or bring the car in

Mail in ECU - remove the ECU yourself and courier it to EuroLab, 27a Neilpark Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013. Vehicle drop off - leave the car with us and we remove, unlock and refit it for you. Same price either way. Enter your vehicle registration when you order so we can confirm your exact ECU before you send anything.

S68 (ECU: MG1CS221) as fitted to M5 G90 and M5 Touring G99, XM G09 and XM Red Label, X5 M60i and X5 M Competition, X6 M60i and X6 M Competition, X7 M60i, 760i, Alpina XB7, plus Range Rover SV P615/P635 and Defender OCTA (2024 on).

Some of these cars run two control units. Where both have to be unlocked, the second unit is quoted separately - we will tell you before you pay, not after.

Coverage depends on the exact ECU fitted to your car, not just the badge. Send us your year, model and engine and we will confirm your ECU is supported before you pay. This is a workshop service - the car or the ECU needs to come to us at 27a Neilpark Drive, East Tamaki.
