The Alpha-N hood for the new BMW G90 and G99 M5 is made entirely of pre-preg carbon fiber with integrated skeletal bracing, which serves to add stability while maintaining minimum weight.

While similar to their G8X M3 / M4 carbon vented hood, the G9X M5 variant uses a new design that offers larger and more efficiently positioned air outlets for better thermals and aerodynamics, much more similar to BMW Motorsport's M4 GT3.

NOTE: Alpha-N raw carbon body components are designed for OE fitment, but minimum weight with maximum strength. As such, they do not contain fiberglass, filler, or thick resin layers that, while helpful in presenting a smooth finish, add unnecessary weight and weaken component rigidity. These parts are designed for professional prep, painting, and installation. A straight clearcoat application may highlight surface imperfections.
